Goals

I was just reading over some of my archives from this blog (which I started 4.5 years ago, crazy!) and I came across some goals... The first was to buy a seat for my kayak (ok haven't done that yet, but at least I have been for a few paddles in the past year and WILL paddle more this summer - yay summer!). The second goal was to learn to sail... check! I am so excited to have had the opportunity to be on a sailboat and learn some of the theory behind sailing, as well as glean bits and pieces of navigation and tactics. It was a really neat experience.. at this point I'm not sure when the next time will be that I get to go out on the boat - but I am definitely thinking of keeping my schedule next year flexible so that I can hopefully get another trip or two as a naturalist!
